InTech meetup #8 has a new virtual format and a profound cause: building the first Golang community in North Macedonia. At InPlayer we use Golang to build our amazing platform and we’d like to share our love for this technology with everyone. Golang, as a robust system-level language used for programming across large-scale network servers and big distributed systems, its features and applications, especially in the context of cloud computing and infrastructure is something that sparks interest and high level of curiosity among the software engineering community in general.
That indicated, InTech Meetup is the perfect opportunity to start dwelling deeper into “All things Go” and we are excited to invite all the tech enthusiasts to our 8th in a row InTech Meetup which will take place on the 19th of May (Wednesday) at 6 PM CET.

William will give us an insightful presentation on the topic : “Profiling and Tracing Go Apps”.
William
will aid us understand how to use the profile and trace tooling in Go. We will use a practical program to
find performance problems and based on what we find, refactor code to gain better performance.
Keynote Speaker
Natalie is a learner, a Google Developer Expert for Go, an OpenAI ambassador, a public speaker and a
sailor. When she's not working on robust systems at Aerospike, she is organizing the GopherCon Europe and
Cloud Nein conferences, and the Berlin chapters of the Go and Women Techmakers user groups. Previously,
she was an Engineering Manager, Software and Hardware Engineer, and a Co-Founder of a mobile start-up. In
her free time, she is wondering if there is life on Mars...
Natalie, joining us from Berlin, will share knowledge and expertise on the topic: “Infrastructure for
ML Applications”. Via her presentation she will facilitate the process of getting a close glimpse on
how to robustly build a Machine Learning system and how to build a service that interfaces with a fast
secondary data source to enhance the model’s predictions. We will have a chance to inspect infrastructure,
model serving/deployment and data enrichment separately and create a working stack together.
Keynote Speaker
Stojan is a life-long learner, engineer, hacker and tinkerer. He likes
to deep dive into various programming languages and technologies and
tries to find great uses for them. In his free time he likes to read
and invest in stocks.
Stojan will dwell into the topic Goroutines : The machine behind the
machine. Ever wondered how Goroutines actually work and what actually makes them so fast, light and
efficient? In this talk we take a dive behind the scenes exploring all the technology that makes
Goroutines happen.
